British legend Carl Froch isn’t interested in a possible trilogy between WBC and lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

Following on from the brutal beating from Fury, Wilder has since triggered his rematch clause meaning the pair will once again cross paths.
Promoter Bob Arum had revealed the fight was expected to take place in July although it now seems unlikely because of the coronavirus epidemic.
Following on from a controversial split-draw in Los Angeles, Fury blasted Wilder out in seven rounds and Froch believes the American will be psychologically damaged ahead of future press conferences to promote the third fight.
“He’ll absolutely murder him, I mean he can’t say anything. Tyson Fury will just shut him down and absolutely write him off verbally on the whole build-up. He just hasn’t got a chance, Wilder against Fury, we know what to expect with Fury but he’s going to have an absolute field day.
“That’ll probably be more exciting than watching him get beat again because noodies going to feel Wilder can win, I don't know how he feels he can do anything different to win because it just didn’t look big enough, strong enough, he didn’t have no mobility. We know he’s got limited boxing ability.”

Four-man winner takes all tournament?

The ‘Cobra’ believes a round-robin tournament, including Fury, Wilder, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, would be the best way to determine the No.1 heavyweight in the world.

“When you talk about other heavyweight fights happening, I’d like to see Dillian Whyte fight Fury and then AJ fight Wilder and then the winner of them two fights like a semi-final fight each other because Dillian Whyte deserves his shot at the WBC.

“He’s been mandatory for how long, over a year and it’d still be nice to see what AJ could do with Wilder because I still think that’s an exciting fight but it’s not going to happen he’s probably going to fight Pulev and then look at fighting one of the big ones but the Fury rematch with Wilder don’t seem to have that ring about it now it was such a one-side beating,” Froch added.
