NBA playoff preview and tips: Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers - Game Four

Denver Nuggets can complete a 4-0 series sweep when they face Los Angeles Lakers in Game Four of the Western Conference Finals.

No team has ever recovered from a 3-0 series deficit before, so it looks like a matter of time before Nikola Jokic and Denver eliminate LeBron James and company.

Lakers are 6-1ATS in their last seven home games.
Lakers are 8-0ATS in their last eight home games as a favourite of 0.5-4.5 points.
Lakers are 7-0ATS in their last seven games following a loss of 10+ points.
Nuggets are 2-5ATS in their last seven playoff games as an underdog of 0.5-4.5 points.

Suggested Bets

LA Lakers -3.5

Lakers @ Nuggets - Game Four verdict

While the expectation may have been for the Denver Nuggets to advance to the Western Conference Finals, few people would have expected them to do it in such a convincing fashion.
There were no shortage of ex-players, expert and ESPN pundits who felt LeBron and company had a reasonable chance of springing a surprise. LA Lakers are a -3 favourite to bounce back tonight with SX.bet.
The play of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray has taken the series away for LA, who have struggled to find their best offence.
Since the wild game one in which the sides combined for 258 points, LA have been held to 108 and 103 by the Nuggets' defence.
Jamal Murray has averaged 35 points per game so far in this series, with Jokic contributing 27ppg plus 44 rebounds and 34 assists across the three matches. He's averaging a triple-double.
The Lakers were by no means awful in the first three matches, but improvements can be made. LeBron James missed his first three-point shots but you'd expect his very best performance this evening.
It seems improbable the Lakers win the series from here, but the more important question is can they at least produce something in game four? The numbers suggest they might.
In games two to five, when the betting favourite is beaten, they've covered the spread 153 times in the 264 matches following the loss. Also note, the Lakers are 7-0ATS on the back of a 10+ point loss.
Both Conference Finals are looking done and dusted at 3-0 and the Nuggets now have four chances to put this one away. LA should be the more desperate side so we're going to back LA Lakers -3.5 with Planet Sport Bet.
