Celtics @ Heat - Game Four verdict

Boston still have it all to do as they trail Miami 3-1 ahead of game five at TD Garden. No team has ever overturned a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs in 149 attempts. The Celtics are a -8 favourite with SX.bet.
Trailing by six at the half, the Celtics outscored the Heat by 15 points in the third quarter. Jayson Tatum scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on the night.
All five starters scored at least 11 points with sixth Grant Williams adding 14 from the bench. Boston benefited from a 40% three-point shooting return while holding Miami to 25%.
Despite the double-digit victory, Boston were still second-best at rebounding the basketball and scoring points in the paint. Jaylen Brown has also yet to get going, so there's lots of room for improvement.
We've seen Miami dominate the Celtics at home and on the road and it does feel like they've shown too much dominance to show faith in Boston coming all the way back.
Game four was an off night for Miami, who have previously shot the ball very well and made a high percentage of shots from beyond the arc. Boston haven't been able to stop those looks.
Miami are now on a 5-1ATS in the last six meetings against Boston and even if the home side win this game, we struggle to see how it can be another blowout.
Miami will be desperate to wrap things up at this point. Denver have already been resting for a number of days and the Heat do not need to offer any hope of a game seven in Boston.
Whether or not they get the job done this evening, we think Miami will be too motivated to allow Boston to pull away. The spread is a big number and there's plenty of room for a Boston win in game five and Miami cover.
