The Lakers are looking to bounce back from a 120-101 loss at the hands of the Orlando Magic last time out.
The loss moves them to 0-3 on their travels haven’t also lost 119-107 in Denver and 132-127 in Sacramento.
Miami were able to make light work of Washington in a 121-114 victory to bounce back from a surprise defeat against the Brooklyn Nets.
While the Heat are allowing 108 points per game at home, the Lakers are shipping 123.7. That’s nothing new as the NBA’s third-best home defence allowed 108.6ppg last season.
Equally, the Lakers allowed 118.9ppg on their travels, which was the sixth-worst record in the NBA.
That number may have been worse had it not been for the midseason acquisition of Jarred Vanderbilt but the defensive talent is currently unavailable due to injury.
The Lakers are just 1-7ATS in their last eight and the home side has won five straight by an average of seven in this series.
