Those are good results against teams that have started the season well. On the other hand, the Clippers are 3-0 at home having produced three blowout wins.

After beating the Trailblazers 123-111 and the Spurs 123-98, they beat the Magic 118-102 just last night, so this is a back-to-back spot for them.

That seems somewhat irrelevant as they don’t need to travel, have done minimal travelling this season and have yet to be pushed that hard.

The major question mark hanging over them is how will the lineup look. James Harden’s has arrived and several players have gone the other way.

There’s no doubt one of the NBA’s deeper teams just got even better, but things will take time to gel, and his trade isn’t even official at the time of writing.

The Lakers are at least healthy and familiar.

Before the game, Clippers coach Tyronn Lue made no promises that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will play back-to-back. After the game, he said Leonard looked ‘tired’.
