Scoring continues to rise in the NBA and the Atlanta Hawks featured in the highest-scoring game of the season to date, losing 157-152 to the Indiana Pacers.

The line on this game has been bet up by six points and there have been games this season where if you give Atlanta the right dance partner, no number feels high enough.

Atlanta’s offence is scoring 126ppg while the defence is allowing 127ppg. More importantly, the Brooklyn Nets have been much more willing to engage in a shootout on their travels.

The Hawks rank third in pace so we know what to expect and although their 147-145 win over Brooklyn last month went to overtime, the game had already eclipsed 260 points.

Those six games averaged 240 points despite playing out a 102-94 win against the Wizards at home, where they usually keep things much tighter.
