Learning from Steph Curry has been a 'tremendous tool', says Golden State Warriors star Jordan Poole

The promising 22-year-old came off the bench to feature for 23 minutes on Monday morning, and contributed 17 points as well as a further three assists.

With the Warriors already boasting the deadly trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, Poole is now another weapon the Celtics will be wary of when the series heads to Boston on Thursday.

He was understandably elated with his Game 2 performance, and Poole emphasised how much working with Steph Curry has developed his game.

"Being able to ask the best shooter of all time that, it's a tremendous tool to have to be honest. And I feel like I've done a really good job of using it and trying to apply it to my game.

"Being able just to watch him night in night out, ask him questions about how he moves off the ball, what he looks for, how he creates space, how to get open looks."

But while Poole's three-point ability is impressive on it's own, he offers something different to the Warriors when he enters the court, with his ball-carrying ability constantly causing the Celtics problems.

When asked what the key is to his game, Poole insisted that his aggression is one of his biggest strengths.

"Continue to be aggressive, but also got to find ways to get my team-mates going as well," said Poole.

"Being a primary playmaker out there when Steph isn't on the court, still looking for my shots, you gotta gotta find that balance, but ultimately being aggressive.

"Just trying to find the holes in the pockets, in their defense, know who to swing to, how their rotations are, how they're closing out to some people, and where they're going to give people easy shots, threes, looks, to kind of look at it and see how they rotate. And, personally, go look at film and just find ways to pick them apart."

Poole will be needed again on Thursday morning, when the Warriors travel to Boston's TD Garden for the first time in the series.

Renowned for it's hostile environment, the Warriors will need to put on a masterful display if they are to take the lead in the Finals.
