Wolves vs Crystal Palace tips and predictions: Eagles glad all over at fifth win in six

Crystal Palace are finishing the season strong and we’re backing them to beat Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (1500 BST).

Wolves and Crystal Palace are going to finish mid-table in the Premier League but while the season peters out for the Midlands club, Oliver Glasner’s side is on fire.

Wanderers are currently eight points behind Chelsea and Man Utd, two points on the edge of the battle for European places, despite winning one of eight.

No one expected Wolves to record such a lofty finish but the opportunity was there and had they finished with Palace’s momentum, they’d be knocking on the door.

The Eagles had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Fulham but have beaten Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle and Man Utd in their last five matches.

Something has finally clicked and their flare players, namely Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, are making mincemeat of good teams.

That exhilarating attacking duo has seven goal involvements across those five matches but Jean-Philippe Mateta has stole the show with five goals.

Wolves aren’t short of a few attacking weapons themselves but a spate of injuries has hampered them in recent weeks.

Hwang-Hee Chan and Matheus Cunha took to the pitch together against Man City, while Pedro Neto enjoyed a return to full training and could feature on the bench.

The hosts may have the opportunity to progress next season but for the time being, Palace are playing with a smile and should have enough momentum to keep winning.

Team news

Craig Dawson and Leon Chiwone are ruled out while Noah and Mario Lemina will undergo a late fitness test.

Pedro Neto could return to action but is unlikely to start on Saturday.

Crystal Palace will be without Sam Johnstone, Cheick Doucoure, Jefferson Lerma, Rob Holding and Matheus Franca.
