Sunday’s European treble: AC Milan strength, Marseille frustration, Real Betis test

As the weekend comes to a close, Planet Sport brings you a European treble which includes a tasty clash in Serie A.
It’s been a busy couple of days across Europe’s major leagues, though there are still more games to come.
AC Milan, for instance, travel to Monza as they look to close the gap to leaders Inter. Over in France, Marseille and Brest will be determined to return to winning ways. Meanwhile in Spain, Real Betis are setting their sights on the top six.
Below is a look at all three games, with a suggested bet for each fixture.

Serie A - Monza vs AC Milan (19:45 GMT)
AC Milan enter Sunday’s match with Monza nine points behind league leaders Inter.
The gap in the title race has turned into a canyon, though that doesn’t mean Stefano Pioli’s men will take their foot off the gas.
Monza have won just one of their last four games and scored just one goal in the process. Milan will have little fear of their opponent as they look to extend their unbeaten run in Serie A to 10 games.
The visitors to win the match with a -1 handicap is the way to go.

Ligue 1 – Brest vs Marseille (19:45 GMT)
The battle for European football continues this Sunday night in France as Brest host Marseille.
Brest have enjoyed a stellar four months, losing just one of their last 14 matches across all competitions.
The first half of that run mostly consisted of victories. Those, however, have since dried up with Brest drawing their last three league matches.
Marseille, meanwhile, have completely lost form. The team are winless in six across all competitions, with four of those matches ending in draws.
With both teams stuck in a bit of a rut, we’re backing another stalemate at the Stade Francis-Le Ble.

La Liga – Real Betis vs Alaves (20:00 GMT)
While the top four may seem out of reach, Real Betis will be determined to strengthen their position in the battle for fifth and sixth.
The team host Alaves on Sunday night, with both teams losing just one of their last five La Liga outings.
Both teams met in the cup last month, with Alaves grabbing a 1-0 win. We’re backing another tight contest on this occasion. One goal winning margin is the way to go.
