Lille vs PSG tips and predictions: Back hosts to extend unbeaten run to 15 matches

Lille will hope to claw themselves back into Ligue 1 title contention when they host Paris Saint-Germain at Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday (1945 GMT).
OSC Lille versus Paris Saint-Germain is the headline fixture of this weekend’s Ligue 1 action.
Three years ago, the hosts pulled off a major upset by taking the title from the Parisian team.
Lille currently sit in fourth place in the league table, nine points behind their rivals PSG, who are top of the table despite not having been particularly impressive.
The hosts are one of the most in-form teams in Ligue 1, with a nine-game unbeaten run that has seen them climb to fourth place in the table with 27 points from 15 matches.
Paulo Fonseca's team has the second-best defence in the league, conceding just 11 goals. They’ll know they cannot afford to lose if they want to stay close to the leaders.
They are doing well in Europe as well, where they managed to qualify for the knockout stages in the Europa Conference League. Across all competitions, Lille are unbeaten in 14.
Before this, the Parisians are coming off a very difficult game against Dortmund in the Champions League, where they came close to being eliminated from the competition.
In contrast to their poor performance in Europe, PSG are excelling domestically. They are currently in first place with 38 points and have won eight consecutive games.
Led by Luis Enrique, the team has the best attack in France, with 38 goals. Kylian Mbappe is the driving force behind this success, having scored 15 goals in 15 rounds.
Last season, Lionel Messi scored in the 95th minute as PSG beat Lille 4-3 at Parc des Prince. In the reverse fixture, Lille were thrashed 7-1.
However, that result was an anomaly. Lille have scored in every game played at home this season, while the guests have the best attack in the league.
Both teams are likely to score at least once in this match and the host's form and motivation will be enough to secure at least a point.
