Germany vs France tips and predictions: Germans to test Euro 2024 favourites

Football tipster Sergiu Baltuta is expecting Germany to kick-start their Euro 2024 preparations with a positive result as they travel to France on Saturday night (2000 GMT).
The most anticipated friendly match of the international break will occur on Saturday when France takes on Germany at Groupama Stadium in Lyon, France.
France finished as runners-up at the World Cup and is seen by the bookmakers as the favourite to win the European Championship.
On the other hand, Germany are searching for past glory and head coach Julian Nagelsmann is trying to build a competitive squad for the tournament taking place on home soil.
They were able to make the most of a simple group in qualifying as they claimed 22 points from a possible 24 to finish ahead of The Netherlands.
Captain Kylian Mbappe led his country with nine goals during qualification.
Their reward for seeing off Ronald Koeman’s side is sharing a group with them at the tournament where they’ll also face Austria and an undetermined play-off qualifier.
Germany were disappointing during the most recent international break. After losing 3-2 to Turkey, they travelled to Austria where they suffered another defeat.
Nagelsmann’s more experimental team failed to produce as he handled call-ups to Stuttgart stars Waldermar Anton, Chris Fuhrich and Deniz Undav, while Toni Kroos also came out of retirement.
They’ll be tasked with facing an improving Scotland side, Hungary and Switzerland in June, which isn’t a group that guarantees easy qualification.
