Robbie Savage FA Cup predictions: Chelsea home comforts and Liverpool goals in Old Trafford clash

The FA Cup enters its quarter-final stage this weekend and former Premier League midfielder Robbie Savage is here to run through all the big ties.

Before we head into the dreaded international break, there is FA Cup business that needs taking care of this weekend.

The semi-final line-up will be confirmed as eight teams vie for a shot at the oldest trophy in English football.

Here, Robbie Savage looks at the main ties and picks out a winner in each.

Chelsea vs Leicester (Sun 1245 GMT)

Leicester are top of the Championship but not in good form. They’ve only won one of their last five games in the competition.

Chelsea’s record in the FA Cup, especially at Stamford Bridge, is a good one. They’ve only lost one of their last 21 home games in the FA Cup.

I’m gonna go for a home win, Chelsea three, Leicester one.

Man Utd vs Liverpool (Sun 1530 GMT)

Manchester United have failed to score in six of their last nine games against Liverpool.

For Liverpool, scoring goals is no problem at all. They’ve got 28 goals across all competitions in their last nine games.

It’s the big one. I’m gonna go for Manchester United one, Liverpool two.
