  • Real Madrid'S Jude Bellingham Remains Suspended Despite Appeal

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham remains suspended despite appeal

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham will serve a two-match ban following the Spanish Football Federation's (SFF) confirmation of his red card from the Valencia match.

Despite the club's appeal, the SFF upheld the decision, stating that Bellingham's post-match confrontation with referee Gil Manzano, where he passionately argued for a late winning goal, constituted dissent.

Bellingham's suspension sidelines him for upcoming fixtures against Celta Vigo and Osasuna, with his return scheduled for March 31 after the FIFA international break.

Real Madrid, while disappointed, aim to navigate these challenges without their star midfielder, strategically regrouping for pivotal encounters later in the season.

The upheld ban highlights the intensity of the player/referee dynamics in the La Liga, setting the stage for a compelling return for Bellingham in March.
