Leeds United news: Daniel Farke confirmation, Rasmus Kristensen leaving and Amad Diallo linked

It's going to be a busy week at Elland Road as Leeds United announces their new manager and several transfer dealings.

Unrest is growing among Leeds United supporters as they await to hear who will take the reigns for the 2023/24 Championship season.
It seems to be common knowledge that the race is down to Daniel Farke, Patrick Viera and Scott Parker, although others were said to be considered in the final process.
Despite reports, Andoni Iraola wasn't approached this time around and Carlos Corberan was never a serious option, as much as Leeds like him.

Suggestions in the press have flip-flopped between Viera and Farke, but eagle-eyed punters think the proof is in the odds.

The German is currently 1/5 at some outlets to be announced as Leeds United's new manager.

Rasmus Kristensen set to join Roma

We already know that Diego Llorente and Marc Roca are set to leave the club and according to reports, Rasmus Kristensen is expected to be the third man out the door.

He has agreed personal terms with Jose Mourinho's Roma where he'll link up with the departing Llorente.

It's not yet clear if this is a permanent move for the Dane or a loan move that could see him return to Leeds if they were to bounce back.

Marc Roca will depart Elland Road on an initial loan basis while Llorente will move for a fee.

Leeds interested in Amad Diallo

It was only yesterday we reported that Erik ten Hag was yet to make his mind up on whether Amad Diallo will get an opportunity at Old Trafford.
The talented youngster spent last season on loan at Sunderland and forged a promising partnership with ex-Leeds United winger Jack Clarke and more importantly, Leeds forward Joe Gelhardt.
Planet Sport also reported that Diallo has expressed his desire to return to Sunderland should he be allowed to leave on loan again this season.

Despite that, he's now being linked with a move to Leeds United, according to reports.

We think Diallo may have some unfinished business among the talented crop of young players at the Stadium of Light and may not want to sacrifice that for a fresh start at a club that's rebuilding.
