David de Gea reportedly set to part ways with Manchester United

David de Gea seems to be on his way out at Manchester United.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea appears to be heading towards an exit from the club as he has been left out of their retained list for the upcoming season.
De Gea's current contract is set to expire on June 30, and negotiations for a new deal have been unsuccessful so far.
The 31-year-old has been reluctant to accept a reduction in his £375,000-a-week salary, making his contractual situation appear bleak, according to sources at the club.
While young striker Mateo Mejia and Under 21s player-coach Tom Huddlestone have received fresh contract offers and are included on the retained list, De Gea's omission suggests that his 12-year tenure at Old Trafford may come to an end this summer.
If De Gea departs as a free agent, Manchester United will need to secure a new first-choice goalkeeper, with Tom Heaton and Nathan Bishop currently being the only options.
Having made 545 appearances for United, placing him fifth on the club's all-time list, it increasingly seems that De Gea has played his final game for the Red Devils.
Despite winning the Golden Glove last season, his campaign was marred by notable and costly individual errors.
