England internationals Owen Farrell and Mouritz Botha and South African Ernst Joubert are among 18 Saracens players to have signed contract extensions with the Premiership champions.
Farrell, who has scored 603 points in 46 appearances for Saracens since graduating through the club’s academy, has been rewarded for an incredible 12 months with a new deal at Vicarage Road after helping them to victory over Leicester in last year’s final at Twickenham.
The 20-year-old’s meteoric rise to prominence continued this year as he earn his first England call-up and made his international debut in the Six Nations opener against Scotland.
“Owen obviously has a wonderfully exciting future in the game, at club and international level, and we are delighted he has pledged his future to Saracens,” said Saracens Director of Rugby Mark McCall.
“Mouritz’s progress over the past few years has been fantastic, and we genuinely believe the best is yet to come.”
“Ernst has been one of the pillars of the Saracens revival over the past few years, and we are thrilled he has committed his future to the club.”
Joubert will later this year qualify to be available for England selection.
