Four-week ban for Bergamasco

Aironi flank Mauro Bergamasco was handed a four-week suspension for punching by a Pro12 disciplinary committee on Wednesday.

The Italian international admitted that he had committed an act of foul play, in that he had struck Ospreys scrum-half Rhys Webb in contravention of Law 10.4(a) during the Pro12 clash at Liberty Stadium on Friday 17 February.

Bergamasco is free again to play on Wednesday 21 March, which means he will miss the rest of the Six Nations.
