Geraghty to ride at Leopardstown after injury

The jockey missed two rides after injuring his elbow during a fall riding out on Saturday morning.
He was replaced by Andrew Lynch on Slieveardagh in the BBA Ireland Opera Hat Novice Chase, while Andrew McNamara rode Shinrock Paddy in the Tote Trifecta Rollover Beginners’ Chase.
Geraghty is due to ride Captain Conan in the Deloitte Novice Hurdle and Roberto Goldback in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday, and he expects to be fit and ready to take his place.
He said on Twitter: “Got a bang on the elbow riding out this morning, unfortunately I have to miss Naas today but will be back in action at Leopardstown tomorrow.”
