Powell: After the 1st innings ton, the physio told me you will not get a good chance to score another ton. I had my share of luck while batting. I am really happy to be on the list of some great players. |

Sammy: Bangladesh played really well and their batsmen fought very well, but credit to our bowlers, who did well to take 20 wickets. Best and Rampaul bowled really well today and helped us win the game. It turned out to be a good Test match for us, we capitilised on the bad balls and that helped us. We are not that good in Tests, but last 2 series we have improved and that inspires us to do well in the future. |

Rahim: The boys readlly worked hard for 4-5 days, but we couldn't end up on the winning side, Sohag played well in his debut Test and 2-3 other guys also chipped in. Test cricket is always tough for us, we really did well in the 1st innings, but we didn't apply ourselves well in the 2nd. The physical fitness was not a concern, but they bowled well and we didn't get any big partnership. We will come hard in the 2nd Test. |

A convincing win for West Indies in the end as they were backed by an inspired spell by Best, who took his maiden 5-wicket haul in Tests. Bangladeshi batsmen will have themselves to blame as they got out to poor shots after getting good starts. The only worry for West Indies will be the form of Narine, who couldn't take a wicket even on a fifth day pitch. |

Best Tino to M.Mahmudullah, Clean BOWLED |
|
|
It's all over folks, a convincing win for the Windies and a maiden 5-wicket haul for Best in Tests, this time he gets the yorker right, Mahmudullah backs away to the leg side and misses it completely, the ball crept under his bat to hit the base of the middle stump. |
