Taiwo to sign permanent deal?

Nigerian defender Taye Taiwo has revealed that Queens Park Rangers are keen to sign him permanently after his loan spell ends.

Taiwo joined QPR on loan during the January transfer window after enduring a frustrating spell at AC Milan in which he struggled to get any game time.

Having spent five years at Marseille, Taiwo comes with a lot of European experience and is sure to boost the Hoops’ hopes of avoiding relegation.

The 26-year-old has turned out just twice for Mark Hughes’ side but according to the player, the club are already interested in making him a permanent fixture at Loftus Road.

“The fans didn’t believe in me in Italy but I’m happy here and QPR want to sign me on a permanent basis,” he said.
