Suarez and Ferdinand

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says he lost all respect for Luis Suarez when the Uruguayan declined to shake Patrice Evra’s hand.
Suarez - who recently served an eight-game ban for racially insulting Evra in October - snubbed the Frenchman before United’s 2-1 win over Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ferdinand then ignored Suarez in the pre-match ritual handshake, setting an ugly tone for the encounter.
“If he is not going to have the respect to say sorry. I lost all respect for the guy,” said Ferdinand.
“It could have been resolved between the two players today. After this, it’s not great. I’m disappointed because I expected more from the other guy.”
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson labelled Suarez a “disgrace” after the match and urged the Merseysiders to offload their £22.8 million signing.
