Stoke will be hoping to bring an end to their three-match losing streak when they travel to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday.
The Potters last earned a Premier League point away to Liverpool on January 14, but they followed up that result with defeats to West Brom, Manchester United and Sunderland.
The Cottagers, meanwhile, have only picked up one point from their last three league encounters, leaving Martin Jol’s men 14th in the standings.
On the team front, the west Londoners are without Steve Sidwell, Orlando Sa and Zdenek Grygera, who are all injured, but Andrew Johnson could return after overcoming a groin strain.
Meanwhile, Stoke will be without the services of Robert Huth after the defender failed in his appeal against the red card he received in the defeat to the Black Cats.
Manager Tony Pulis is, however, boosted by the news Matthew Etherington is expected to return after overcoming illness.
