Kempton best bet: Rosy Kiss to land maiden win

Kempton has an all-weather meeting to keep us entertained on Wednesday evening and the penultimate race of the night has attracted the attention of the Tipstrr camp.

Caprelo is the early market leader and is returning from a 133-day break so he should have the fresh legs to run a good race. 

Last time out he came home in fifth at this course, albeit over a slightly shorter trip, with odds of 50/1, but he never threatened the leading group. 

Despite his potential, we think there's better value to be had elsewhere in the field.

For those looking for each-way value, Free Speech comes into this one off the back of a tough race at Southwell on Easter Sunday, when finishing third out of four, but that came after a 156-day break.

Before the break, Ed Dunlop's three-year-old was in fine form, with a win at Chelmsford and a second at Wolverhampton in the two contests immediately before her break. 

At odds of around 8/1, she definitely looks like an attractive each-way option with bookies paying out on three places as eight will be coming to post. 

However, our selection is Rosy Kiss for trainer Marco Botti, who looks to continue her upward trajectory of form. 

The three-year-old filly struggled in her first outing on the all-weather at this course in December, finishing eighth out of 13. 

Since that run at this course over four months ago, she has impressed with a second at Lingfield later in December, finishing just two lengths behind The Ferret, which was followed by a third at Wolverhampton in March, coming home just one length behind the victorious Toxic.

Rosy Kiss has the added bonus of the experienced Hollie Doyle in the saddle too, Doyle has a 14% strike rate in 2024 and 43% of her rides this year have finished in the first three and could hold the edge over her rivals in this contest. 

While she may not be the market leader, Rosy Kiss is the way to go in this one as her form, coupled with the booking of Doyle should swing this one in the favour of Botti's filly.
